About this piece

Handmade Afghan flat-woven kilim with bold tribal diamond motifs and a lively palette of red, turquoise and gold. Woven from hand-spun Ghazni wool using traditional techniques; colours are achieved from natural plant and spice dyes for a warm, lived-in look. Reversible and lightweight, it works beautifully on floors, as a wall hanging or layered over a larger rug. Each piece is unique. Slight variations in weave and shade are part of its handcrafted charm.
