About this piece

A large, flat-woven Afghan kilim woven with a lively diamond and hooked motif banding in rich reds, turquoise, ochre and ivory. Handmade using traditional techniques and hand-spun wool, dyed with natural colours inspired by fruits, vegetables and spices. Reversible and low-pile, it works equally well as a statement floorcovering, hallway runner or wall hanging. Each piece is unique so slight variations in tone add to its character.
