About this piece

Flat-woven Afghan kilim with bold geometric diamonds and a warm, natural palette of browns, ochre and ivory. Handwoven using traditional techniques, reversible and lightweight, perfect for living rooms, hallways or as a wall hanging. Colours are achieved in the old style using vegetable and spice inspired dyes and the tight weave shows fine tribal craftsmanship from northern Afghan weaving traditions.
