About this piece

A vibrant flat-woven Afghan kilim featuring a central diamond medallion and stepped zigzag borders. Handcrafted using traditional kilim techniques and hand-spun Ghazni wool, the richly layered colours are achieved with natural dyes from fruits, vegetables and spices. Reversible and durable, this piece works equally well as a floorcovering, wall-hanging or feature in a hallway. Each rug is handmade so no two are identical.
